Having been passionate about sailing from a young age, he instantly fell in love with the boat.<\/p>\n<p>That moment changed his life forever. He decided to leave life ashore behind and make the Long Reach his permanent home.<\/p>\n<p>Over the following years, he sailed extensively along the Portuguese coast, often venturing north toward Vigo and the beautiful Galician coastline in Spain.
