A New Boat, A New Life
Miguel purchased the Long Reach in Nazaré, Portugal, in 2015. Having been passionate about sailing from a young age, he instantly fell in love with the boat.
That moment changed his life forever. He decided to leave life ashore behind and make the Long Reach his permanent home.
Over the following years, he sailed extensively along the Portuguese coast, often venturing north toward Vigo and the beautiful Galician coastline in Spain. Although he explored many places, Nazaré always remained his home port—a place where he built lasting friendships and became part of the local sailing community.
